Many pupils with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are supported in our site Specialized Academic Intervention (SAI) Learning Lab, which is staffed by our SAI Education Specialist and supported with assistant help. The Learning Lab is a full size classroom with a computer hub. Pupils receive specialized support aimed at assisting them to develop skills to help with learning disabilities. This may take place in the form of computer based lessons or small group lessons. The Learning Lab serves as the base location for our SAI staff, who will also provide "push in" supports in the regular ed classrooms for students with IEPs. Working alongside general education teachers, our SAI staff assists with accommodations and reinforcement to help all of our students succeed in the grade level general education program.
