Site Governance Team (SGT)

The School Governance Team is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent representatives who serve a two-year term. They meet eight times a year to oversee the implementation of
various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs. The SGT is
an elected advisory group of teachers, staff, the principal, and parents that provides input on instructional programs and school policies. The School Governance Team members work together to set goals for improving student achievement at the school and maintain responsibility for the success of all students. Interested in serving on the Juarez Elementary School Governance Team (SGT) as a parent representative?
To nominate yourself or a fellow parent, you may submit your/his/her name on the nomination form above by Friday, September 6, 2024.
Voting took place from September 8-13 via Google Form.
Parents and community members are always welcome to attend and participate in SGT meetings.
School Site Council
24-25 SSC Agendas/Minutes
School Site Council is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent representatives who serve a two-year term. They meet eight times a year to oversee the implementation of various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs. The School Site Council is a governing body that is responsible for deciding how to spend categorical money to improve the instructional program here at Juarez Elementary. Each school in the district receives a different amount of money, based on enrollment. The School Site Council members work together to set goals for improving student achievement at the school and allocating the funds to accomplish those goals. This is a two-year position.

Multilingual Learner Advisory Committee
24-25 MLAC Agenda/Minutes
Would you be interested in serving on the Juarez Elementary Multilingual Learner Advisory Committee as a parent representative? To nominate yourself or a fellow parent, you may submit your/his/her name in writing to the school office by Friday, September 6, 2024.
The purpose of the MLAC is to advise the principal and school staff on programs and services for Multilingual Learners. The MLAC works together to set goals, for improving student achievement at the school and maintains responsibility for the success of students.
